Cnario and Disk-In Pro Complete the Olympic Experience Museum of the Olympic Committee of Israel
Tel Aviv, Israel – November 9, 2009. Cnario, a global provider of digital signage software solutions, and Disk-In Pro, a provider of planning, design and construction services for visitor centers, museums, and exhibitions, have completed the Olympic Experience Museum of the Olympic Committee of Israel in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The Olympic Experience Museum is a unique multi-sensory, interactive, multimedia experience conveying the Olympic values. The interactive experience takes place in a five-hall show, corresponding to the five Olympic rings. Cnario implemented its high end entertainment solution in this project employing the most advanced capabilities.
The unique experience – planned, created and implemented by Disk-In Pro - is based on Cnario Entertainer, a system that manages and operates high-quality video-based shows that enrich the visitor’s experience in out-of-home venues. Cnario Entertainer combines superior show control and exceptional video display in pixel-perfect quality, with a control center, and includes tools to produce, coordinate and control exciting audio visual shows. The system provides synchronized seamless projection, with crystal clarity, precision, color and geometric correction, and integration of multiple high-quality video streams with text and graphics.
The multi-sensory, multimedia experience in the museum’s five halls, enables visitors to experience interactively a number of sports activities and challenges faced by Olympic athletes, inspiring the visitors with the Olympic motto of “faster, higher, stronger.” For example, the visitor can test his concentration ability, and participate in a marathon race simulation. Visitors learn about the history of the Olympic Games and current champions through a movie showing a young female athlete and her coach, as she prepares to compete in the Olympic Games.
Israel’s Olympic medal-winning athletes are projected, as holograms, as they speak of their training and their achievements. A separate space commemorates the 11 Israeli Olympians who were murdered at the 1972 Munich Games.
“The joint project conducted by Cnario and Disk-In Pro inspires visitors, demonstrating the Olympic spirit and introducing the young generation to the Olympic values,” said Ephraim Zinger, Director General of the Olympic Committee of Israel. “We are proud to be one of very few Olympic museums in the world.”
“Disk-In Pro has planned and produced an extraordinary audio visual program based on the most advanced technology and tools, creating a strong interactive connection between the content and the audience,” said Moshe Yeyni, CEO of Disk-In Pro.”The innovative concept makes use of the Olympic emblem as an element of design in the museum’s various spaces.”
“We are pleased to partner with Disk-In Pro in this innovative and unique project, where our technology helps create the ultimate viewer experience, based on an innovative concept and interactive, experiential digital media,” said Yael Elstein, Cnario’s Vice President Marketing. “The Olympic Experience Museum joins other museums and visitor centers and attractions around the globe where our technology has been implemented.”
