Orange is a leading multinational telecommunications provider with a worldwide customer base of over 220 million people. Within Israel alone, Orange provides a range of high-quality cellular phone service to over 3 million customers. They also offer ISP services, server hosting, WiFi hotspots, and VoB telephony services.

Using digital signage and interactive flash, Orange wanted to create an all-encompassing customer experience that would be both interactive and easy to manage.  The challenge would be to create an interface that would work with their CRM system and allow them to remotely and centrally manage all of their new digital displays. This would give them the ability to deliver messages by visual effects, the integration of real-time updated information, and the management of all content. Additional functionality that would enable Orange to synchronize each customer’s profile with target content for that particular store location was also a top priority.

Due to their experience with digital signage in the telecommunications industry, YCD Multimedia was brought in to create a solution that would integrate and work with their CRM. After assessing the functionality needed, YCD used their digital signage software suite, Cnario, to interface with Orange’s CRM. This enabled Orange to play targeted content based on their customers’ data and interests. Cnario also gave Orange the ability to control and manage all store displays from one single location. Now updates could be made to Orange’s digital signage instantaneously. 

In addition to creating a more streamlined and easy to use CRM, touch screens were added next to each product that would provide in-depth product information while creating an interactive customer experience. More interactive digital displays were also installed to display Orange’s portfolio highlights and content from Orange’s Israeli based entertainment website, Orange Time.

By adding all of the appealing and interactive digital displays, Orange was able to achieve its end goal, which was to increase customer engagement and create a coherent, aesthetically pleasing customer experience.  Eraz Paz, the Vice President of Marketing and Content for Orange Israel, spoke very highly of YCD Multimedia’s contributions throughout the project saying, "YCD’s digital signage platform enables Orange to increase client experience, presenting the client with Orange’s range of products and services in a very attractive and focused way.
