Komfort, a Polish home furnishings store wanted to introduce digital signage into their in-store environment to highlight advertising content and customer created content.


Working with Polish partner, Magit, YCD Multimedia helped create a digital signage network consisting of interactive touchscreen displays and a number of 4 display video wall arrays installed in the shop windows and inside totems.


Komfort's new digital signage network was a major hit with both the customers and Komfort's executives, providing crisp beautiful promotional content alongside customer created items with seamless pixel-perfect, better-than-broadcast quality playback.

When it comes to decorating their customer's homes, Komfort, a Poland-based home furnishings company, knows that creating the right atmosphere is everything. After all, it's exactly the kind of service they give to their customers. 

As purveyors of modern and cozy home furnishings, Komfort wanted to create an atmosphere that not only informed customers about promotions and products but also allowed their customers to get creative while introducing an interactive element to their normal shopping experience. After considering a number of options, they approached YCD Multimedia and their Polish partner, Magit, to help them come up with a solution. 

After discussing Komfort's needs, Magit and YCD Multimedia developed a digital signage network that would accomplish all of Komfort's goals. A digital signage network running Cnario Suite as it's software platform was quickly and efficiently implemented in Komfort's pilot retail location. This digital signage solution consisted of two 46” interactive touch-screen panels that allowed customers to create customized content and products and additional video wall arrays comprised of four 55” displays each. These were installed in Komfort's shop windows and within the store on inside totems. 

Using Cnario Suite's content management system, Komfort could now switch between content created by the customers using the interactive touchscreen panels within the store and targeted promotional content broadcast online from Komfort's central headquarters. This was done by pairing Cnario with a custom add-on called the Extron device. Sales consultants could change the content on the video walls as needed by choosing selected fragments of content and attractive offers dedicate to specific customer needs and display them on the video wall. 

The final feedback and results following the Komfort's install were overwhelmingly positive. Customers highly-enjoyed the new interactive elements installed in-store, which provided them with a more immersive, and engaging shopping experience.
